FIVE YEARS AGO, Marianne Levy e-mailed me and made me promise to NEVER AGAIN CALL HER HUSBAND, on "Topic 'A,'". I KEPT MY PROMISE!
Yesterday, Bob Levy said I was "spineless," because I use the "Topic 'A,'" blog, and NOT the call line. Hhhhhhmmmmmmm. I thought I was forbidden to use the call line!!
Five years ago, I wrote a letter to the Ocean County Observer, now defunct. In it, I addressed Bob Levy as "a friend." The very next Sunday, Bob responded using his "Topic 'A,'" forum. He said, I was just a "listener," and not a "friend." Yesterday, Bob Levy told "Joe," from Toms River, that he and I "USED to be friends." C'mon, Bob, WHICH IS IT???
The term "Baghdad Bob" was used by me in jest. When Bob took it, literally, I sent him a greeting card, I enclosed a dollar bill, and instructed Bob to "buy a sense of humor." Unfortunately, HE DIDN'T!
Over the past five years, Bob Levy has used my "Baghdad Bob" comment to pander for phone calls. Whenever there's a lull in the "action," Bob brings up "Baghdad Bob," once again, and the phone lines light up. Bob NEVER says "thanks."
Bob Levy told "Joe," from Toms River, yesterday, not to advertise the "Topic 'A,'" blog. He's trying to get out of it. Why, when his producer, "Paul," does such a BANG-UP job with it!!! Bob contributes NOTHING! Perhaps Bob is the one who is "spineless," and not me.
Okay, Bob, I'll just "go away." You're NOT worth it, anyway.
Bob, at least CONSIDER my suggestion to buy a Key West retirement home. Install Kevin Williams as the NEW "Topic 'A,'" radio host. Do it for your loyal listeners and callers. Okay, I'm "going away," now!!!

Bill- Regardless of the behind the scenes stuff that has happened in the past, the bottom line is that on Sunday, Bob "challenged" you to call in to the show. If you WERE banned in the past, well it looks like that edict has been lifted. SO, if you continue to just vent on here without calling in, one would have no option BUT to agree with Bob's description of you as "spineless"?
I'm campaigning for you to call in out of sheer selfishness. It would be entertaining as hell to hear you guys hash this stuff out.
BTW, my name actually IS Joe, so there is no need to put quotations around my name.
So Bob is going to start opening his Topic A with clips from Glen Beck. Then maybe he should play the clip from Nancy Pelosi's "The Word" clip. Bob, you said you will kill yourself if Sarah Palin ever becomes President. Well, listen to "The Word" clip from "The Speaker" and just remember that she is 3rd in line to the Presidency! Now that's scary. Talk about killing yourself.
