I've known you for more than twenty years and I've appreciated your support in my time of crisis and your willingness to give me a sounding board whenever I wanted to promote the community I love. However, this past Sunday held a moment in our long and friendly association that I wished had never happened. I don't know what it was that I said or did to warrant your calling me a fool, but I am sure nothing you could have said or done would have ever elicited the same type of response from me. The fact that you allowed additional callers to jump on your bandwagon of derision certainly didn't make for a pleasurable morning for me, either. I guess the old adage that "As gentlemen, we can agree to disagree" doesn't hold much water on Topic-A anymore, but it was fun for the time it lasted.
Good luck with your show and my best to Maryann (who proves every day that there IS such a thing as a "better half").
