From the News desk of Tom Mongelli:

Local elected officials and school superintendents are bracing for Governor Christie's Tuesday budget address. Unquestionably, there will be pain - either in service cuts, job reductions or higher property taxes.
What's going to become of the acreage housing Fort Monmouth? A state legislative bill that would create subtle changes in the Fort Monmouth Revitalization Planning Authority is creating some unease among local officials, especially in Oceanport. A public hearing is scheduled in the near future.
Lakewood Community Services Corporation launches its six-week Entrepreneurial Training Institute. People who want to start their own businesses find out if they've got the real commitment it'll take, with support from LCSC, Union County Economic Development Corp, SCORE, and the SBA. Starts Thursday in the Lakewood Municipal Building.

Rullo won't stop talking, as long as his window of opportunity is open.
Fan Fest time at First Energy Park - Lakewood Blueclaws tickets go on sale Saturday. Woo-hoo!
If you're interested in Community Emergency Response Team training through the Ocean County OEM, let me know. They're starting a new round of classes in April.
